pretazzo... I really hear a lot of Faust and a bit of Kalachakra (especially for the tribal percussions), but it's in the atmospheres they create that something mittel-european is felt, which is not found in California... post-rock as I mentioned, the elongated sound of Mogwai and Godspeed at the forefront, although still in an embryonic phase. With the subsequent (wonderful) works, they softened the sound, this is pure fury...

their debut is not (for me) their highest point, it’s certainly a disorienting album and the review analyzes it a lot... but with the next two albums and the compilation Camper Vantiquities they reach perfection... Well done Pretazzo
