@Nick... "regarding other sources: everywhere this album is credited as 'David Pajo', not just Pajo. I don't know, it's important!" I think it's important too, and aside from Ondarock, the three sources I've mentioned (and consulted before writing, to have the right 'technical' information) seem to me to be the most reliable... in this case and for AllMusicGuide in general...

Thank you all for the criticisms (both favorable and less so). A small clarification, especially to Nick, the artist in question is David Pajo, previously of Slint, Tortoise, For Carnation, Aerial M, Zwan, Papa M, or simply M and David Pajo. This work is under the name Pajo, as it also appears on his MySpace page, and perhaps I made the mistake of not detailing his life, death, and miracles... but I have often faced criticisms of being "too" historical. I wrote it in the middle of the night and under the influence of fever and antibiotics, although upon rereading it, I find it interesting and """poetic""". Thank you, anyway, really for all the posts...

Kurtis Blow, Grandmaster Flash, KRS One, Erik B & Rakim, A Tribe Called Quest... then came the East Coast gangsta, with NWA's Straight Outta Compton being enough to almost kill the genre... instead

He said it all... damn... what I wanted to say... he just "forgot" to mention that white rap was well represented by House Of Pain (others from the top charts... Jump Around...?). However, the album in question is beyond discussion. Rap (in America) has been selling since its beginnings with Rapper's Delight, Sugarhill Gang... and right after, the "leaders" Public Enemy and Run DMC...
