I would say that "very interesting" is just the right phrase, dear azzo... in cases like this, it’s unclear why they had the slightest bit of luck, just the single released in '66, then nothing until this live from '97... bah

I saw him many years ago at the stadium in my little town. As a kid, I loved to daydream about his lyrics; he was a hero (along with Bennato). Then, at eleven, I "met" Battiato, and the nightmares began... I'm still trying to wake up. Great review, really.

I believe I agree with supersoul and iside... I mean, maximum respect for PFM, but a young person should listen to Storia di un Minuti, contextualize it in the time it was conceived, understand its issues, the socio-political situation that supported it, who these old guys were and what they were doing almost forty years ago... a live performance like this one today (which I don’t know and I believe I’ll do without) may provide valuable lessons on instrument use, technique, but the emotions are no longer there... Franz Di Cioccio drives me crazy when he plays the professor on Glob, but musically he had already said everything when he did Giallo (funeral roll) in Attila. If we want to teach young people technique, then these things are perfect... I believe.
