bonJ, start with the abc, listen to bands like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Pantera, Slayer, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica.....give them a listen and maybe you'll like them.

And let's not forget the legendary Necrodeath, Infernal Poetry (monstrous live), Stormlord, Glacial Fear, Theatres des vampires... Great review, while I've heard Handful of Hate mentioned several times, I will get my hands on something. Anyway, great Golem are from Bari, true Apulians!

Frankly, not all metalheads are psychopathic satanists and killers; they are perfectly normal people who have families, jobs, etc. If a person is intelligent enough not to let themselves be influenced by the ideology of certain groups, then it's all good; they only listen to the music (chaos, noise, screams... call it whatever you like, but it's a matter of taste). In my opinion, everyone should learn to separate the ideas (of death, Satan, and other similar nonsense) from the pure and simple musical proposal of a band. I like metal because it is a very original genre and especially for its immense energy that it manages to convey, but I don’t only listen to metal; I enjoy every genre as long as it can evoke emotions: rock, hard rock, jazz, blues, classical... when the music is good, it’s not up for debate.

Thank you guys. I really loved Alien, and you have to be a bit crazy to fully understand this album. In my opinion, Alien can easily be compared to City, if not even surpass it. Anyway, moonchild, Townsend is such a great bastard! To churn out albums with Strapping and with the Devin Townsend Band, and to produce records for other bands that have nothing to do with metal, he creates a huge amount of quality stuff. He doesn’t rush his work.... he’s just a very busy guy, that's it!

Lemmy will live on forever and his beer halo will leave you all in awe! Great defenders, Motorhead!

Simply one of the most beautiful recordings they've made, it struck me a lot too. I really like waiting silence, with that fantastic, airy refrain... anyway, it takes courage to call Blind Guardian a little thing!

They are really good; if they're playing in your area, go check them out and get their demo "sons of glass," it's truly worth it. They play technical death metal, very crazy.

...damn, I got confused, I was thinking about the demo and I messed up the band's name, I'm sorry. The two people I mentioned earlier are respectively the singer/bassist and the drummer of Cosmic Heresy, a band made up of four guys from Taranto who have played many times here in Lecce. My band has performed together with them.
