No, perhaps I didn't explain myself well; the point is that it's not credible to give a 5 to an album just because it's by Popol Vuh. Every band has its best and worst albums; you can't crucify a reviewer for not giving the typical default 5. A minimum of criticism should never be absent. That said, I'm sure the album wouldn't drive me crazy, and the sample in this sense is a tiny demonstration of that. I'm not crazy about Hosianna Mantra either, even though I obviously respect it.

No, but the air you breathe here is "everything branded Popol Vuh is a 5." Honestly, it seems to me a rather unconvincing attitude and very fan-like. It remains to be seen who the "truly capable" are to judge certain records. All this because I usually trust a moderate 3 stars more than the mythical and exaggerated 5s.

I smell the stench of 1.

I don’t understand why a Popol Vuh album should deserve a 5 just because. Oh well. I stand in solidarity with the reviewer and give it a 5.

I vote for Laggio in every way. Laggio, you're the man! It's funny though that someone like darkHaem, used to listening to Children of Bodom and Epica, comes to the Alternative Rock reviews to act like a know-it-all... regardless of the reviews that may or may not be liked, make sure you also listen to the albums being reviewed, I assure you, you’ll thank yourself for it :-)
The God Machine The Desert Song EP

Finally, someone who remembers them.. The Desert Song is beautiful, Scenes From The Second Storey should be listened to by all Tool lovers.

Your reviews just keep getting better... I hadn't even noticed the nickname! The influences sound promising, let's hope it's not a cocktail-cover of the same ones :-|

"Instead, with this work, we are faced with an unexpected and unprecedented originality that has arisen, even more so, from the technical/compositional improvement of each individual member of the band"....there's an absolute contradiction in terms in this sentence.. indeed, a double contradiction, since an Epic Orchestral Metal Power album can be anything but "original." You can give these guys 5 stars as well, but I ask you one thing: do not associate the term originality with these scarecrows. That's the only "request" I have for the upcoming reviews! Beautiful
