Matteo Renzi Fuori!

Today I received confirmation, if there was ever the slightest need for it, that you’re just toying with us all, with this phrase of yours: "a figure of undeniable importance like Marina Berlusconi, heir to her father not only in the decisive economic sense, but also, and above all, in the spiritual sense." Because only someone who wants to pull a fast one can write such nonsense. What moral standing can a man like Berlusconi have, who has ruined Italy, society, the economy, and I dare say even the few values we had? As for Renzi, I think he’s just fluff. One thing that really annoys me about Renzi is his little quips, à la D'Alema-denoantri, which are absolutely indigestible. A joke can be made, but when a politician is always making stupid jokes (the king of jokes Berlusconi, D'Alema the snob, Renzi, Bersani, Andreotti, various PDL members...) to attract attention and be likable, it diminishes what he represents. I don’t remember a Berlinguer, a Forlani (don’t laugh), or a Spadolini making jokes non-stop. A politician who continually jokes is ridiculous; he doesn’t seem serious, or at least he doesn't give that impression. If we take away Renzi's jokes, he’s like a fish out of water. And then he made an unforgivable mistake: he shouldn’t have stepped on the toes of the old guard by saying to their faces: you’re old, get out of the way for us youth. It’s necessary to outclass everyone with new ideas, with fighting spirit, with seriousness and, I regret to say, with money and someone behind you giving you a good push. Renzi was courageous; he jumped into the void, but it seems there wasn’t any water in the pool.

Greetings to Valerione. Strange but I’ve never heard this super famous piece by Bella. Instead, Bella this sly review from the '80s.

Fazio: I find him too limp. I noticed that as long as Silvio was firmly in power, his interviews with the powerful in the government were very, very bland; however, recently, sensing that Silvio is in decline (and consequently his job is no longer at risk), he has embarked on "bold" interviews with politicians, laying bare some bitter truths to them (Maroni). In short, too spineless for my taste. Baricco is like a glass of water on a rainy day. On the other hand, I wouldn't undervalue Bollani for three reasons: 1) he introduces music that 87% of the dull Italian populace doesn't even realize exists, 2) he plays well, 3) I don't expect a revolution from a musician.

WHAT nonsense you’re spouting! Punny, let me help you: In the political context, mostly with a negative and polemical value, it refers to a longing for the return to authoritarian regimes and methods; broadly, it means strongly conservative: environment, party conservatism; conservative ideas. So Punisher meant that “Il Male” is a newspaper that is “conservative equal to zero” which would fiercely oppose any political and social innovation, upholding ideas and institutions that are rigidly conservative... even though it fails to do so; it seems quite clear to me. Words have meaning! And in my opinion, even if inadvertently, Punny hit the nail on the head.
