Roberto Saviano Gomorra. Viaggio nell'impero economico e nel sogno di dominio della camorra.

AlessioIride.. it's a review site, it's not a freemasonry. And the fact that Turkish made me fly off the handle... really gets on my nerves.

Bedroom... exactly for what you wrote: is this really an album deserving 2 out of 5???????

Kemosabe, for me, the most traditional and tough folk descends from people like Hank Williams. But I wouldn't hide behind these categorizations; Cash made great music.
U.S. Christmas [Eat The Low Dogs]

Listening to the pleasant tune linked by Sfascia, I had the obvious memory: "... if you look up there, the sky is all blue, the stars are now shining more than ever...". Then I took a glance at the cover of the Christmas goat eating its leg and thought: is it possibly a folk-black-metal album?

But is it "de paura"?

Kemosabe.. if you listened to the top ten country songs of the last thirty years up to today, in the USA, you would realize it right away. I mean with "country" those light, fluffy, kind of bland songs, with lyrics that are so self-referential, so Americany that they are relegated to the limited lands of deep America. Cash wasn’t country, he was truly American.

Turkish: Look, the discussion about the "hero" is very, very difficult to unravel. Because first of all, we need to define what a hero is. From a subjective point of view, I believe that a hero is someone who knows and acts consciously (e.g. I save a thousand Jews knowing that I risk my life if I get caught, I want to be shot instead of him who has a family). Saviano certainly knew he was taking a risk, but... did he underestimate that risk being young? Did he think, "weigh" and compare the probable success and the probable risk? It could be, or not. But objectively, from the outside, I consider him a hero. I care little about how and why he reached this point. Italy, especially in these times, as you say, is so miserable, poor, sad, dull, foggy, marshy, devoid of illusions, devoid of ideals, without a spark, without any character who inspires trust (at least in me), who makes us dream, hope, fight, that even a simple young man with a stern and sad gaze can be considered a beacon.

Well, listening to and watching (by chance, I didn't even understand who this Lazarus is) Cobain, Hendrix, and Elvis, one after the other, has got my day back on track. Who knows, maybe some young person will delve deeper and bury Tokio Hotel and company forever.

No, a country singer absolutely not. Cash was an American songwriter. American for better or for worse. Anyway, a truly great artist who has "reborn" with these albums. Stunning American Recordings.

Il_Paolo is careful to dream that you find yourself with a Gigi D'Alessio investigated for external participation in a mafia association (Brescia Prosecutor's Office).
