Can you believe it... I read it in the '80s following that Venditti song that mentioned it. I remember it being beautiful, with memorable passages. But I wouldn’t give it a 5.

From Wikipedia: Silvio Berlusconi's entry into politics, also known as his "discesa in campo," took place on January 26, 1994, through a 9-minute recorded television message from Berlusconi himself, broadcast on nearly unified networks. However, Berlusconi had been working towards this step since the summer of 1992 and was part of the political debate since July 1993. From Corriere.it: "MILANO - 'According to an increasingly credited investigative hypothesis, Paolo Borsellino was killed because he was seen as an obstacle to the negotiations that would develop between the State and the mafia during the season of massacres, starting from the Capaci massacre in which Giovanni Falcone, his wife, and the police officers of the escort lost their lives.' And that a negotiation took place, 'is now legally established'... 'Those who consider these arguments influenced by political opinions may note that they largely coincide with the interpretation also recently provided by the super-antimafia prosecutor Pietro Grasso, who is not a party leader like Veltroni but a magistrate who often found himself at odds (especially when they both worked in Palermo) with Ingroia's stances. But even he, less than a month ago, reiterated that through the new "strategy of tension" of the early nineties, "Cosa Nostra intended to facilitate the emergence of new political realities that could then satisfy its demands."'

That's it: I'm coming out. It was the year 1994 and I, the undersigned Geenoo from Debaser, saw, out of pure curiosity, a "live" performance by our Silvio and Fini. I remember perfectly how it was announced with this catchy tune, I remember a sea of people with blue flags and tricolors. Pure enthusiasm. And then, something almost incredible happened. Half a meter away from me, he passed by, kissed and hugged by women and honored by men. I remember his face so shiny, that smile. I remember he was almost a caricature with incredible energy. There was a fresh, effervescent air. Exactly sixteen years have passed. Continue below...

You're such a nostalgic person. Anyway, the cover really grabs me and I've always liked them too. If they're nostalgic, even better—I'm in a nostalgic phase.
