This Mortal Coil It'll End In Tears

An anthology scene. Just like the film, or like Lynch's work. Anyway, in "Waves become wings," it's Fraser who sings. If God existed, and had a voice, it would probably be hers.

Fidia should be back on track, from what I know he has resumed live activity without major issues apparently.

How reflective a story like his is. Musically, I barely know him, but the news of his death has incredibly affected me, and I still need to understand why.

But I don't know how you can say that Sober didn't sing it. She was literally amazing.

This Albini is really something to grab onto.....great feedback.

Okay, I get it, even though you seem a bit exaggerated. Anyway, Angus Young isn't exactly a genius either... in the style we're talking about, I don't really know if Slash has anything to envy him for. Anyway, until next time!

For example, I tolerate Clapton's style very little, but I would never go around saying he's a shitty guitarist, because he has a divine touch and he's a serious badass guitarist, even the walls know that. I simply don’t listen to him instead of trashing him, that's all. It's simple after all.

I Love music, when personal tastes (absolutely legitimate) turn into this kind of stance, it’s a waste of time and ridiculousness. Explain to me with serious and objective reasons how one can say that Slash is a shitty guitarist or a flop. I can understand if we were talking about a guitarist with all technique and zero musical taste like Satriani or Malmsteen or Petrucci, but that’s not the case here. More than technique, he has an explosive and damn musical approach that, in the genre in question—hard rock with blues and punk roots—waves of guitarists can only dream of. Until recently, I was like you, but now I’ve realized that it’s not worth thinking that way, and I’m sure you’re perfectly capable of understanding it on your own too.

Hi geek, thank you so much for the comment.... I don't have much of her latest efforts (I don't have beekeper for example). I've listened to some tracks from friends, but honestly, it didn't seem to measure up to her previous albums. Anyway, I don't rule out getting them sooner or later: I really have a soft spot for this woman; as I said in a comment on another review of one of her albums, only her voice and Fraser's can completely alter my sensitivity.

Anyway, Maynard's entrance with the giant shadow sarcastically waving from behind the screens was PHENOMENAL. Almost unsettling. And then, a very high score for the magmatic flow of images on stage, truly in tune with the music and trip-psycho-disturbing. The absolute peak of the concert, in my opinion, was Sober.
