Hi Alexander, the fear of the execution was certainly not because I like Appetite, but because I compared it to an album that has nothing to do with it... but I explained the reason and I hope I expressed myself clearly. There’s really nothing wrong with saying that I like Guns! And damn how much I loved them! I listen to them less now because my musical horizons are different, but that doesn’t mean I deny them, not even if you paid me. Appetite is, in my opinion, a masterpiece of an album, and in the end, who the hell cares if it’s not seminal or fundamental for the development of music (if such progress exists, something I am very doubtful about) (even though it’s true). And if Use Your Illusion had been one album instead of two, eliminating the unnecessary tracks, it still would have been a great album.
