One of the most fake and ridiculous groups in the history of music. Pure rhetorical garbage. Transgressive, them? I’m peeing myself laughing… and as usual, I find myself on the same wavelength as donjunio.

For claudiovox: maximum respect for your opinion too, but if you say that the Darkness are better than Radiohead it almost makes me laugh... it takes some guts to make such a statement, come on. It was the 90s that were saved by them, the Nine Inch Nails, and trip-hop. Let's save ourselves from nonsense like that.

I also enjoy conversing while respecting different viewpoints; in fact, that's where the beauty lies (and this site serves that purpose). Anyway, since you mentioned it, if you give 5 to this album, you should at least give 10 to Appetite, don’t you think? I don't think it really holds up to comparison... after all, we’re talking about people who have made rock history, not talented kids just doing some covers. Nonetheless, maximum respect for your opinion, of course. Until next time.

I really think the confusion is coming from you, Filippo. First of all, Back in Black had nothing to do with it, since my reference to sales was meant to hypothesize the meaning of "being on top," words you used regarding the Maiden. I’m talking about ARTISTIC RESEARCH, the search for expressiveness that lies at the heart of every artistic form, and even more so in music. The Maiden being "on top" is due to the fact that they have been selling for about fifteen years or more now, certainly not because of all the things just listed – which coincidentally are the foundations of an artist worthy of the name. So, they find themselves on the same level as Aguilera, MTV's butt-shakers, fake rappers, and boybands, like Metallica and many other dinosaurs who pretend to be the greatest musical expressions in the history of music, whose megalomania simply expresses a total lack of IDEAS and, above all, the ability to broaden their consecrated horizons, which is even more serious. Coupled with the unawareness of being completely anachronistic. They no longer have a hold on the musical reality, they no longer influence anyone. There’s no greater example of wisdom than knowing when your time is over, and not many in the mainstream recognize that. I’m talking about people I loved as a kid too, not about people I dislike a priori. It’s just that we need to have at least a bit of awareness nowadays, in the shit world we find ourselves in. Do you know why the new generations haven’t replaced them? Because many new artists are floundering in arid (I’d even say dead) musical territories, reintroducing the stereotypes of their nearing-end fathers, so imitations of imitations. The few who look to the past to aim forward will come out on top, trust me. Not those funny jokers from The Darkness, who will return to anonymity in two or three years.

You're right, Sofia, this time I admit it. I'm sorry for the comment (even though your closing remark had taken the words out of my mouth), sometimes we get a bit carried away. I hadn't noticed you were new; I didn't like the review mainly because of the coldness, unusual for a concert of this caliber. However, the negative comments weren't justified, as you didn't come across with arrogance like many do in their first reviews. Sometimes we feel a bit like professors and we act like fools... forgive us. Keep going and give it your best, adding a bit more personality, and you’ll see it won't happen again...

Congratulations then, excellent concept of music. Anyway, I am a guitarist, and Satriani simply inspires me pity. It's not hard to understand why.

What a beautiful reception... I stumbled upon it by chance while browsing "David Lynch" on Google in search of more or less elusive short films, and I came across this musical proposal that absolutely compels me to get it right away. I trust you. Unease is what I live for...

Look, atheists might get moved even more than those who live in the shadow of their God. You deserve a nice 1, I would say.

Do you know anything about the release date of "Control," the film about Ian's life? The premises are excellent, young actors with great potential, direction by that genius Anton Corbijn, and music by New Order...
