I generally agree with the comment above. There are sublime musical forms, like those of the best Queen (in my opinion, always), which may not have changed much in terms of musical evolution; this is more or less a given - while other bands, like the ones mentioned above, have radically changed the history of music, some managing to capture the masses (see Doors, David Bowie) while others remained niche (I think of My Bloody Valentine, just to name one). But this does not diminish the merit of Queen, and I see no reason why it should. The fundamental requirement of quality music, of musical art, is above all sincerity. This has never been lacking in Queen and in the often-targeted Freddy.

I completely agree with you, Renzo Pin... in your previous comment, it seemed like you were saying not to appropriate past eras because they are in the past, and I didn't agree. Now that you have clarified your point, I fully concur.

Well, I don't agree that one shouldn't know about past groups and focus solely on current production... both are necessary, especially because these groups have a strong artistic value precisely because this transcends temporal connotation. True art transcends the horizons in which it is conceived, and in fact, we have a duty to know it (and above all the pleasure)...

Not a bad definition; I would say that I mostly agree, all things considered. I don't believe that Queen hasn't satisfied these three characteristics (certainly not always, but in their times of greatest glory, in my opinion, yes). In any case, it's always a pleasure to discuss in these terms... until next time.

Pure magic. Liz is The Voice. Good reception, even though I don't really share the emotions they convey. For killgod: I don't think The Cocteau should be worth anything just because they're covered by Deftones...quite the opposite. Go get it, Liz, go...

Having a unique sound from an artistic point of view certainly means Festwca; if anything, it’s one of the most important things, you might say. At this point, you’ve piqued my curiosity: what do you mean by quality music?

Ha, our friend is also a philologist... you're such a brain-dead child that you even went digging up my comments? You must have really taken it hard, huh? It's clear that I hit a nerve with your little idol, huh? Ah ah ah, there really is no limit to the madness...
