Great review, really nice album, Beck only surpasses himself in Odelay, after many nice records but never timeless like Mellow Gold and Odelay.

one extra star, although I wasn't there I would have given it for the good acoustics of the Saschall, nothing terrifying but much better than other shitty venues, I would have taken away two stars for the group's performances which are increasingly declining, I hope I'm wrong, and realize it only in front of the whole crew playing, for me it's a year and a half of abstinence from afterhours. I saw them at Velvet, I admired them at the first date of the first edition of Toratora in Rimini, three times around my area and twice in Rome if I'm not mistaken, and the last time they really disappointed me.

I'm not a big fan of Baustelle, although to be honest I know little about them.. the singer's voice doesn't sit well with me, the singer of Otto Ohm, whose name I don't even know, isn't divine, but simply, in my opinion, pleasant. I hope to change my mind about Baustelle since everyone speaks very highly of them.

Nice record, easy to trivialize dear Jim, hard to grasp, in the Italian context of the 2000s there are few things worth framing, in my opinion it deserves a small frame, pleasant music and beautiful voice of the singer.
