Mauri, listen to the 2 albums I told you about and then let me know if you notice any difference. Don’t take it personally, but on this site we comment, and the comments reflect the tastes and ability to recognize what’s good or not. And I, like anyone who understands 80s American indie rock or the Minnie scene, can confirm that the great Asylum albums are the ones up to "Hang Time." Did you know they played for Clinton in the early 90s? Did you know they were in heavy rotation on MTV for that famous heart-wrenching single? Well, I don’t have anything else to add. Of course, if you like this album, no one is forcing you to rate it below the 2 I mentioned.

but fuck you and Evan Dando, Pearl Jam have been honest, they haven't let themselves be sodomized by the music business like your Oasis, they don't grant interviews cloaked in that air of superiority like your champions. Eddie Vedder never said "I'm a fucking genius," which is exactly what Noel G. did, so fuck your MTV idols.

I do not agree on in the spanish cave; for me, the masterpieces of the group are this one reviewed and the subsequent moonhead, which are also two of the masterpieces of the paisley underground, that is, desert-cow-punk rock.

the perfect record to exterminate the female gender, in misogyny we trust, but I still prefer rape to murder

I thank everyone who has wasted 5 minutes of their quantum time to read and comment on this review. To the “wrecking crew,” I must say that it may not appeal to everyone; it took me two and a half years, during which I abandoned the Clock DVA project multiple times and then returned to it just until the final spark. I obviously based myself on the booklet so as not to let my imagination run too wild, while also including some of my reflections on esotericism and applied science (Newton is a connoisseur of both) that were missing from the booklet. EneatheDevil, I hope you meant Adi Newton and not Isaac; to those who consider the sounds of this album outdated, they are partly right since it was released in 1990, before all those revolutions the years following 1990 brought to electronics, like Pan Sonic, for example. Nonetheless, for me, DVA has the stature of classics and is therefore exempt from historicism and its rewriting and post-evaluation in light of any future (which in this case is the post-90s).

It's a good album; how many bands after 25 years of career manage to produce something still fresh and worthwhile? Very few, hardly any.

Modern Dance was the promo LP by Pere Ubu and was released in '78. It might be misleading that Pere Ubu had been around since '75, but they had to wait until '78 to release their first LP. As for singles, they debuted in '75 with "Over Tokyo" and "The Final Solution." Then, the founding guitarist Peter Laughner committed suicide, and Herman took over. Once the lineup was settled, they were able to record their first album, but only in '78.
