THE REVIEW

Well, here we are, at the only blemish in the Queen discography. It must be said that the film (I RECOMMEND NOT WATCHING IT) heavily and NEGATIVELY influenced this album. It's also worth mentioning that the situation was different from '86 because here the four were busy not only with concerts but also with the album "The Game." However, it should also be noted that, except for the only two truly great songs, "Flash's Theme" and "The Hero," the work dissipates into 16 tracks that serve merely as a simple musical backdrop to the film. "Execution Of Flash" and "In The Death Cell" are interesting, but to be clear, the real Queen should not be sought here.

To listen to once in a while, and that's enough.

Summary by Bot

Queen’s Flash Gordon album is considered the weakest in their discography, heavily influenced by the underwhelming film. Despite two standout tracks, most songs serve as simple background music. This album contrasts with the contemporaneous success of The Game and is best enjoyed occasionally by fans.
