I like endive, but I much prefer lamb's lettuce, arugula, and escarole. Let it be clear.

Beautiful! I'll listen to it.
By resonance, what follows came to my mind.

"......
..And then, what's that?
A military son
Oh well, yes well
They even killed his pig
Poor PURCELL
In the sense of the pig
Yes well, ah well, yes well...
.But he, no, he didn't cry
In fact, he chuckled
Ah! Ah! Ah!"

Anyway, "Extraordinarily the result is quite convincing" is nothing short of apotheosis.

Just to tie back the thread of the conversation, I conclude by recalling that the Cretaceous (145-66 million years ago) experienced further diversification of animals and the emergence of flowering plants (Angiosperms), but the Period ended with an indeterminate planetary catastrophe, possibly identifiable with the fall of a massive asteroid, which led to the mass extinction of a wide variety of species: the apex of terrestrial food chains was wiped out, and other levels suffered significant losses. Among the Dinosaurs, only a few Birds survived...

The Mesozoic Era saw the continents drift apart and slowly move towards a position similar to today’s. It is also called the "Age of Reptiles" due to the extraordinary development these animals underwent, taking dominion over the air, land, and water.
Appearing in the Carboniferous, by the Triassic (252-201 million years ago) Reptiles extraordinarily diversified into various forms and sizes. The first Dinosaurs emerged, which, in the subsequent periods, became the largest land animals ever to have lived on our Planet. Concurrently with the development of Dinosaurs, other Reptiles like Plesiosaurs, Ichthyosaurs, and Mosasaurs adapted to the marine environment, occupying the ecological niches now exploited by Cetaceans and Sirenians, while another group, the Pterosaurs, specialized in flight. Even Crocodiles, distant "cousins" of Dinosaurs, gave rise to a multitude of forms and adaptations, including terrestrial herbivorous species and marine predators.

By the end of the Triassic, the first Mammals appeared among the Synapsids, diversifying during the Jurassic and Cretaceous while adapting to numerous environments, never exceeding the size of a large cat.

In the Jurassic period (201-145 million years ago), some Dinosaurs evolved into forms of gigantic size, while others gave rise to Birds, their current descendants.

I miss this one by Alfred. Or maybe I saw it a thousand years ago and I don't remember. Great unbeatable director Hitchcock! I love him.

Aahahah what memories!... reading about the happening reminded me of an event that took place at the end of the 80s, with a song that in my mind perfectly accompanied the one you mentioned. The song was this and my happening occurred at my cousin's house! It was just him and me, along with a stash of marijuana he had stumbled upon in a field; harvested and dried properly. So we dedicated part of the afternoon to the marijuana before collapsing on the couch to enjoy some videos on the then fantastic Videomusic. And then at a certain point after Jimmi Sommerville, the Culture Club, the Cure... the video for Doctor and the Medics started !!! "Hey Nicola turn it up, turn it up!!!"... and so we turned it up to the max (the neighbors still remember... :) and we started dancing like two crazy people all around the living room, jumping up and down from the couch!! The music was so loud that soon enough my aunt (...who absolutely wasn’t supposed to come home but damn she did..) without keys, started ringing the doorbell to get in and grab them... By the end of the song we heard the doorbell and the scolding was monumental... We resolved the situation in a pinch by blaming the TV which had suddenly cranked up the volume and the remote was nowhere to be found... I cheerfully left whistling Spirit in the Sky which still brings me great lightness and joy. Sorry, what a ramble I wrote!

Fabulous memories of the millelire from Stampalternativa. Always interesting, stubbornly countercultural, and so affordable that buying them was almost a must! Bought in the early nineties during university, I own about forty of them!
