Syd Barrett The Madcap Laughs
Voto:
SYD will watch us, don't be silly... I'm not dead! His body has left, now he's free to watch us from his cloud on a blue comforter... he can see us, but we can't see him... magical SYD!

But who said that Gilmour, technicalities aside, is better than that GENIUS of Barrett? He’s just a dullard caught up in his own technicalities, indeed! Whatever he has done, as a famous music critic said, Barrett would have definitely done it better! I wholeheartedly agree! The very fact that his last album has already disappeared from circulation, while The Piper sails through the years, gaining more and more "followers," doesn’t that say anything? Great review =))))))
Peter Frampton Comes Alive
Voto:
by Frampton's own admission, this album has been both a burden and a delight for him! He spent a long time riding on that angelic image with long, curly hair, making us forget that he is a tremendous artist. I recommend watching the DVD "Live in Detroit," where, on a sparse stage and with just three incredibly talented musicians, he delivers 100 minutes of beautifully crafted rock, with the crowd in a frenzy (and this time for his skill, not for his looks...). To me, he is still a highly underrated artist!

a beautiful review! an artist who is worth every penny one could spend to go listen to him! and if Linus and Limiti like him too… well, the world is beautiful because it is (a)varied! too bad I couldn't go....................

Lucio Battisti Umanamente uomo: il sogno
Voto:
truly a beautiful review, written by someone who loves Battisti and listens to him in full, not just the hits! I'm convinced that if you ask a Battisti fan about this album, they will respond that they don't have it in their collection, limiting themselves to buying the most famous or catchiest titles! I've always loved him and always will, I stopped buying his music after "don giovanni." honestly, the nonsense of Panella passed off as poetry seemed a bit too much to me...

guitar licks...acid drums...mixolydian scale...surf rock (beach boys?)...help! I'm too old and ignorant for the technicalities (unfortunately), I must confess that I read the review in two sittings; on the bright side, I have 2 copies of The Piper, just in case one gets damaged and I find myself in a place where I can't buy another, I also bought the book that describes the making of the album (is that how you say it?), and anything SYD has written, I would listen to anyway! The album is beautiful, still relevant, and I gave it 5, since 5000 isn't an option...yeah, obsessed! Long live SYD!
Fabrizio De André 1991 Concerti
Voto:
the review is beautiful and pleasant to read, without technical jargon that, to someone like me who hasn't studied music, instills a subtle terror... De Andre'... well, he is De Andre', I grew up on bread and De Andre', I have all his records, and whether live or not, you never get tired of listening to him... I believe I've always had him in the background throughout my life! He is a great, indeed, Great!
