Mercury Rev Deserter's Songs
Voto:
Look, I was just writing about it in a review on the homepage, the one for Causa Sui. I’m waiting for it for Christmas, but unfortunately I’m currently in a huge love phase with Yerself Is Steam and especially Boces, so I’m a bit less interested in the second CD. But I’m enjoying it already!
Spacemen 3 & Wooden Shjips Split 7"
Voto:
Nice looking, this split was accompanying me into my dreams until last week, when my fucking iPod decided to commit suicide. But the latest Spectrum? Do you like it?
The Vaselines Dum-Dum
Voto:
Afterwards, I'll read it later, but they became a bit of a case in '93/'94 when, after getting Incesticide, we all looked for those damn Vaselines. Honestly, I remember them being a bit overrated, but at the time they were too quiet for a seventeen-year-old.
Causa Sui Summer Sessions Vol. 1-3

"They just reissued Snailking on LP '...I own it, paid a little less than what you say directly from Ufomammut when they opened their exhibition at my place this summer (I even played the records that night). Beautiful, but I wish I could have played it more than once since July! My daughter (and especially my woman) are not too keen on it. @lukin: dEUS deluxe is on the way, as well as a nice double Peel Session from Mercury Rev, spanning from Yerself to All Is Dream (that is, the golden period), plus a cover of Planet Caravan by Sabbath!"

Yes, yes, I also received a poster from Stefan! I would like to see Tavares' wife @boredom: I would love to be (reduced) like him! He's my new walking aesthetic canon.

Look, I was staring at the Rated O CD the other day, and while I was looking at it I thought, "cute, but a bit of a joke, huh!" The latest OM is quite playful rhythmically, compared to the previous ones. Yeah, you can listen to it all without risking fainting on your feet, like. I only liked the latest Six Organs, but that one is also very canonical folk in a way. Yeah, they're kind of dull, and Shrinebuilder is pretty soft too.

I can't help but say, and repeat what I wrote to you, that the second one feels a bit thrown together and the third session is a bit better, but the best remains the first one. Stefan is a treasure; he also sent me the handwritten message last year! It almost brought a tear to my eye.

What an honor fest, after such a long time! I have all three on vinyl, but the other two are a bit of a disappointment! Maybe III is better than II, but this one remains the best. What did you like about pissicodelico this year? Aside from OM, not much comes to mind.
The Pink Fairies Live At The Roundhouse
Voto:
I had no idea there was a live recording by the Fairies! I'm claiming it right away! Just think, I'm currently reviewing two lesser-known live recordings like this one, one of the early Funkadelic shows, and one featuring recordings from '67/'69 by the Blossom Toes (with a jam session alongside Uncle Frank!)
Astra The Weirding

Bravo! Just because disco month noise had made me lose the desire, now I make myself insensitive and listen.
