I need to track this down, just as I'm trying to find Occupanther which I completely snubbed back in the day.

Well, I heard about it in the last year, but I could never find it online. Can someone send me this or the latest one? After that, I'll binge-watch the videos, but together with Guy Tavares from Orange Sunshine, they're already my male icons of the year! I had a mustache like the one behind on the right for 6 months last year.

@fedezan: the last one has nothing to do with these recordings. This is Ben Chasny unleashed (it's basically 6 tracks for three vinyls, you figure it out), luminous night is the "for the masses" version, beautiful as that is too. If you want old stuff that’s affordable, look for Compathia from 2003. @nes: don’t get me wrong, I didn’t mean to say that mp3 = bad sound, it hasn't been like that for a while and we all know it. It's just that for 10 months I only had it in mp3, and I never managed to listen to it with the necessary calm. On vinyl, I find myself putting it on quite often. I don’t know if it's the mp3 or the lack of physical support, but it often makes me overlook records that deserve much better respect. @dope: well, it has its effect, there’s an ultra-psychedelic giant poster in the middle, not bad, plus heavy weight just how we like it!

bravo panico, beautiful and evocative. I got it on vinyl in the US in November (around 12 €, a steal for this mega triple trip), but don’t worry, I also wanted to include it among the releases of 2009, but basically they are recordings for various EPs released between 1999 and 2005 (I think I should double-check). Anyway, a must-have purchase, having this in mp3 is a sacrilege. A record with infinite depth, through the ages. Amen

Damn Greg, I find it a bit lengthy, but it’s well written, congratulations. And good job filling in the gaps of the database, this was just what was missing, which along with Let It Bloom is their best little disc. Then there's also the monstrous live in Tijuana. I believe there’s a video of MIA that is absolutely hilarious.

Good job, Ivo! If I'm not mistaken, this one was also missing from the database. However, for various reasons, they've never been my cup of tea. I know that in a couple of years I'll buy it on vinyl and eventually listen to it at my leisure.

Guys, what if I told you that both Dances with Wolves and The Last Samurai (really a bad movie) are movies that suck (the first one less obviously)? And come on, are we still using mass popularity to judge the beauty of a film or not! For crying out loud! I have to stop reading the comments about this movie or I won't be able to watch it in peace.

The only right thing you've done so far in here, Lorenzo, is putting the link to that editorial from TG1, for which I'm trying to move with lawyer friends to see if we can file an official complaint to RAI. A director of a news program (and we're not talking about Telesanterno, but the main state TV) cannot afford to say such nonsense and pass it off as established concepts when they are absolutely personal stances. It’s unacceptable; he should be kicked out on his ass. Actually, De Lorè, do the second positive thing since you've been here, go into "exile" like your beloved Bettino, choose the country yourself, and we'll gladly raise funds to send you there.

I feel a bit like Geb, maximum respect also because live they remain one of the best all-around rock bands out there! However, since Let Them Eat (let's throw in Phanerotyme as well), I haven't seen much of an evolution, rather a playful homage to their 70's inspirational sources and some self-referencing (BH/BC is somewhat a summary of their 90's works). The new drummer is great, but Gebhardt, man, was something else.
