Well, in my opinion, there are indeed cool women who know about music, you just have to look for them and not settle for the unfortunate one with the thong up to her armpits, bleached blonde, who often walks around in those damn rodeo-style boots and horrible '80s fashion monstrosities. Given the prevailing fashion, there are some really cool girls, but they’re dressed in a disgusting way. But from the way you talk about it, it seems to me that even those who made it didn't take themselves too seriously, or am I wrong? It feels a bit strange that you feel so offended; I prefer someone making a grind record who is having a laugh than people who are completely convinced singing nonsense as splatter-addicts, like "Entrails Ripped From A Virgin's Cunt" or "Addicted To Vaginal Skin" or "I Cum Blood." I repeat, it seems much worse the other way around—having people who are CONVINCED making grind like Cannibal Corpse (or themselves) than someone like this who, from what I gather, created a monstrous spoof of the genre. We need more metalheads with this sense of (self)irony.

Fuck, I didn't thank you for the records you passed me! But I don't agree with you on Avatar. It's beautiful, no doubt about it, but for me Blue Cathedral is beautiful PRECISELY because it keeps one foot in the noisy chaos of the early stuff and the other in the forthcoming melodies. The beauty lies in the fact that I like albums with unstable balance, always on the verge of becoming nonsense or tacky, and for some reason, they remain suspended in between. Like a jerk in offside, neither going up nor down. Staring at the pool and not jumping in. And then Chasny seems to have already been there on Blue Cathedral, that's why I later bought Six Organs Of Admittance (by the way, another damn nice name, right?). But fuck you all, now I’m going to listen to it again!!!

For me, bjorky blue cathedral is the top of the line, fully equipped with an automatic transmission. Even before that, not bad, but more challenging; Avatar is the most "pop".... handle with care, don’t get mad.

Good job, Odra, a nice pair of armpit bellbottoms would be great! Sorry guys for the lack of comments, but I was out of the office working even less than usual. What can I say, almost a perfect record in the genre, warm and just the right amount of psychedelic. Perhaps one of the most enjoyable albums even for those who don’t usually dig into acid. I had understood that the ekranoplan was a plane but I didn’t know about its use, interesting. Regarding Avatar, I personally think it’s not worth half of Blue Cathedral, excuse me. I mean, it’s not bad but it’s too tame, less unpredictable. Of course there are some great tracks, but for example, track 2 in the final mix is very (too) polished compared to the initial mix. I’d also love to wallow in that nice puddle. Looking back, '69 was truly a great year; I'm discovering more and more wonderful records and bands whose first (and sometimes only) album is from '69. Is it the sexual references? Or the arrival of the Age of Aquarius?
