Beautiful Bartle! That performance makes it clear what great musicians they are! And it makes me even more regretful for the two times in a row (or is it three...who knows?) that I missed them, in 2005 and 2006 (and I think also in 2007). This year I'm out of luck, the venues are too far away.

I was reading this thing about the low mix of the drums on perkele. Anyway, Franci, I didn’t really like this album that much either; I mean, it’s a pretty disjointed temple. To be fair, it’s above average compared to other groups in the scene, but they’ve gotten a bit heavy lately. I should look for the sound I have in mp3 and I never managed to finish it all! Basically, the only one I know well is the self-titled one, which I even bought on vinyl not long ago.

Sorry Syderus, I didn't understand the part about Muslims, the invasion of Italy, the genocide of another people... I'm curious, give me the sources you've drawn from... I'm not saying this mockingly, but with sincere curiosity. Also because attacking Muslims for their expansionist tendencies, when we come from a continent scarred by Christian fundamentalism over the centuries, is a bit laughable. Monotheisms are like that, including Judaism; they exist in relation to their enemies, they are a direct offshoot of a warrior ethics typical of nomadism, they are what should be fought against. But now it’s too late. The problem is that many criticisms of Islam (or the other two major monotheisms) always stop at appearances. In any case, I'm sincerely interested in what you have (I assume) quoted. I haven’t read much of Fallaci, maybe a few articles from the '80s, but I was too young; however, the statements made about Islam and September 11 were chilling, especially from a person I thought had (despite being a controversial figure) a good analytical ability. Instead, they sounded like the kind of talk a local laborer might have at the bar in the morning, between coffee and the fifth of grappa.

great blow of an album, I've been wanting to acquire it for a while (given the current times, I only use financial terms). I don't understand why Jack White came to your mind regarding this album...

We don't understand each other hymnen: I was referring to sentences deposited, for example, and most of the time Travaglio refers to these, and most of the time you can't argue that he's biased; sure, you can always invoke the bogeyman of the Red Robes, but the facts often support him. It also annoys me because he has a punchable face and he's often inconsistent and maybe biased by now, but he has rarely made the mistake of citing illegitimate or false sources, and I believe he has also been condemned (ah, those Red Robes always quick to act, huh?). He doesn't hold the truth in his hands, but at least he stimulates the need to delve into many issues (and that's the fundamental role, not so much the polemic itself, as much as bringing a problem to light and perhaps allowing people to inform themselves about it by citing sources). Of course, not everyone can manage that; I try when I have the time. Also, I never said I was against those who work at Mediaset, but rather against their television offerings, since it practically began.

no fish, unless you are from Marche, it's a way not to blaspheme openly, it bothers some people. It doesn't bother me, but respect is not denied to anyone.

who withdraws from the fight... Can you explain to me Hymnen what moral problem there is in trying to inform the average voter about facts related to those who govern us, if such facts are verified, black on white, and not insinuations from one political side or the other? And enough with this annoying insistence on the burden on public spending and taxpayers! So should I just repeat X Factor and similar crap? That’s what we should be mad about, dear God! Public TV, until 15 years ago, was more or less trying to provide information, and I'm not just talking about politics, but about programs related to various cultural spheres, from sociology, to the environment to history. Now what the hell remains? NOTHING! Also due to those who complain about the speck in the other's eye, without feeling even a slight tingle in their own... and I’d be curious to know if all those who complain about the private use of RAI are actually paying this damn license fee, or if when they can, they comfortably mooch off the State too.

Alright, I made a mistake; I meant to say that the evolutionary gap of the Beatles is greater than that of the Stones within their respective discographies. Without this being a bad thing, of course, but anyone who tells me that the Stones have been more experimental throughout their career, in my opinion, is deaf.

You’ve been very clear, and I completely agree...except on the Rolling Stones. Not so much about their influence on a certain approach to rock (or rather, blues) by white musicians, but about the pointless parallel drawn with the Beatles. They are incomparable; it’s like trying to see who’s better between Maradona and McEnroe just because their sports involve a ball. However, I equally don’t understand those who don’t see a significantly lesser evolution between the early Beatles albums and the later ones compared to the much smaller gap (in terms of musical evolution, without any qualitative implications) between the early Stones and those up to Exile On Main St. SF Sorrow is amazing because it’s a rock opera made by a group that was essentially doing R&B/garage, so that’s quite impressive!

here good, followers of zingales is perfect! It's true that the praises of Ruggeri and the parallel controversy over Hendrix were the lowest point of revisionism ever seen! The problem is that there are such boring people in there that just the thought of bumping into them in person sends me into hibernation.
