I have never ended up in a literary case. In fact, this is the first time I find this page, and only thanks to someone who posted the link in the "I'm listening to" column. And what does that big red button "unsupported" mean? This side of Debaser should be appreciated. As far as I’m concerned, I hope to end up among the literary cases one day as well. Great Sanjuro.

I have this one but I haven't seen it yet. Cadaveri Eccellenti instead I saw a few years ago, great movie, and a splendid ending. The review is very good.
Roberto Benigni Pinocchio

If you enjoy early cinema, silent films, and European cinema from the '40s to the '70s, this is a very satisfying course of study. Unfortunately, however, they have practically stopped at that period. I don't mean to say that it isn't discussed at all; you might even find a single teacher who is knowledgeable and passionate (in reality, there are very few), but generally speaking, the focus is primarily on the past. From one perspective, it's a shame. From another (perhaps), it's a virtue.

This kind of film always divides opinions. It's the case where the audience becomes a mob, a crowd, the masses. People get up and leave. Others remain. If they are not like how you've described them in those precise terms you used ("nothing to grasp, just a lot of banality masked as an art film"), I like them. But (forgive the semantic play) it's very difficult to "be authorial." The review amused me, but I'm not familiar with the film.
Roberto Benigni Pinocchio

Yes, it's the Pinocchio by Giulio Antamoro, but I think it's some kind of animated film, and of good quality for the period nonetheless. As for La Tigre e La Neve, I'm downloading it right now. On one hand, I find it hard to believe it could be worse than Pinocchio, but on the other hand, considering the "poetic" and "messianic" drift of Benigni's latest works, I can't help but expect the absolute worst. The link you provided is from my faculty.
