Guys, I've been listening to the latest (released last month) "Worlds Apart" and... what a tremendous disappointment, they've lost their minds. They're sweeter than ever, very '70s, way too many piano notes that don't fit at all... I don't know, what were they trying to prove? Ah, bassist Neil Busch is gone, he was replaced, and they added another guitarist. We've lost another great band.

SATURDAY, MARCH 19 at the Rolling Stone in Milan, there will be the seventh edition of the "Pearl Jam Tribute," an evening organized by the Italian Fan Club MADREPERLA and dedicated to the memory of Andrew Wood, now 15 years after his passing. Two cover bands will perform, the Bugs and the Oceans, along with Kevin Wood, guitarist of Malfunkshun and brother of the Mother Love Bone frontman /// I’ll be there, and to the first twenty of you who arrive, I’ll offer a sample of beer (that is, if you drink half a liter of beer in the 30 seconds of the sample, it's on me; otherwise...). As for the review and the album, I won’t say anything because, in the end, I don't even know who these Pier Jam are.

I don't see what's strange, luca_reed. I prefer Cocorosie even if I'm not crazy about them either; there are some differences, even if we're talking about the same "scene." It might be the dislike I have for Devendra Banhart, maybe it's that too-hippie vibe, or maybe it's because Max Stèfani likes it, and that automatically makes me not like it :D
