Well done, Airone, I agree with everything you said. By the way, I wanted to tell you that you’ve annoyed me so much with Faust that I bought the Wumme Years 1970-1973 box set, after about a year of seeing it in the store inside a display case, evidently overlooked by everyone. This month, I broke the bank, but it was worth it.

I wouldn't want to intrude, but I would be curious to know what music Guglielmo Gatti likes (the latest to have committed a murder, moreover of relatives, like those discussed by Cif Ammoniacal). To me, this is a conversation that doesn't exist. Ah, I'm not a metalhead.

I have few Lou Reed records, and that's not good.

From the description you give of Track of the Cat, I'd say it's sample number 2, right? As Pizzul used to say: everything is very beautiful.

I also listened to it again over the weekend and I confirm what I said. Although, rereading myself, I was very nostalgic, it’s the trap we fall into when we become attached to a group, as psycho says, to "idealize" the sound of a band, which is still wrong. If I think about the now-famous ups and downs, it was obvious that there would be changes. If I think about how much I've changed in 10 years, from WCS to today :). Honestly, I didn't expect either a masterpiece or a piece of junk, and so it was. In another forum, where they were trashing Pocket Revolution, I said that after all this time what I hoped for was a sign of life, something that made me understand that dEUS weren't finished. For now, I can settle for that. Mediocre is still an exaggeration, with all the rubbish that usually comes out.

Oops, I wanted to exaggerate odradek, it's just that when I talk about certain things I get all hyped up :D. Anyway, yes, you're right, when listening to a My Bloody Valentine album and then to Spacemen it's hard to find similarities, even though their conception of music was still the same. There are already more common points between Jesus and Mary Chain and My Bloody Valentine; in this regard, there's a nice review by easycure on the MBV album "Isn't Anything" that I think explains it perfectly (if you haven't read it already). Bye!
