primiballi my comment wasn't an offense but a reflection (so take it easy with nick who doesn't deserve it, etc. etc.). I also played Pink Floyd covers for a long time, but that doesn't change the fact that for me The Final Cut is light years away from the sound of the early Floyd, which I prefer, but also far from the sound of the Floyd of the second era, which I call "the money trilogy" that I'm certainly not dismissing (don't get me wrong). EM, don’t get involved too; I respect you a lot (for the wonderful review :-)). But did you read my comments? And the ratings? Don’t be like that jerk who criticized without even reading. I voted twice 4/5 for the album and I wrote: <<<Great review, congratulations. A must-have album. At least Roger Waters has bounced back. ARNOLD LAYNE you’re an idiot! It may be light-years away from The Piper, A Saucerful Of Secrets, Atom Earth Mother, and Meddle (...) but it’s definitely better (along with The Wall) than the money trilogy: Dark Side, Wish You Were Here, and Animals, which I’m sure you consider masterpieces...(to Arnold) >>>.
