Yes, before coming under Sugar's management, they had good potential and pretty broad margins for improvement (considering that they know how to handle the tools in their hands). The first album was of good quality (well, everything is relative), the second (before the makeover) acceptable - the Sugar reissue turned it into radio music, the third one is really awful (at least based on the single I happened to listen to). It would have been better to die young, with fluffy little hairs on their butts...
