Oh no. Don’t tell me... Everyone? Even Vren? About the review: first of all, the idea actually came from the director Adrian Maben (the “who for them”) and not from the band. The night shots you mention were actually filmed in London later on and shot in darkness to hide the trick. The footage of the excavations, the mosaics, the special effects and so on were added recently and were not present in the original version of the video. The “One Of These Days” footage is all for the sloth Mason because, according to the director, the others were lost. Dave’s bare torso is the last thing I would recommend looking at in the video. In the latest version (the Director’s Cut), there are, in addition to the original video and the latest edition, interviews with the band members, the director (who also explains the things mentioned above), and above all there are the oysters... :). After the live show in Pompeii, it’s all commercial stuff. I would kindly ask puntiniCAZpuntini, if reading, to step in. He’s the top expert on this video and the oysters...

The point is just this. I would have preferred a work with a slightly different take and not an insistence on evoking what has been...

Hi Giov... I must say that I really love this album, but I'll try to be as objective as possible. It's true that Morrison was starting to want to abandon the RockStar figure to take on that of a "poet of the masses," but it's also true that he's still a singer, the leader of a band. Behind this album, there are the Doors, Morrison's lyrics, but also a somewhat overbearing production and a tough period. And you can feel it...
