Hi Jimi. Tell me where I wrote that Gilmour is not a great guitarist. I don’t see a comment like that. He is a great guitarist (on the second/third step, starting from the top, of the guitarist pyramid) but not a great composer. And I stand by it. He has certainly written some beautiful pieces, but always in support of Waters, the true mind of the group. Listen more closely to the post-Waters works and give me an answer. Best regards...

AR anonymous reviewers, I don't think it's a user. I believe it's the aggregator of all those reviews that cannot be attributed to registered users. But let's get back to the music. The album in question was recorded "Live" in its entirety. Our band played together with Jim in another room (in the bathroom). Hence the characteristic echo effect that lingers throughout the album. I would say, however, that the Doors created an "atypical Rock" tinged with Blues. Salud.
