Bertè's voice has always and definitely annoyed me. Rather than vocal range, I would talk about yelling range. An "character," undeniably, but with, in my humble opinion, a low artistic depth. Today she is extremely pathetic; I can easily imagine her locked away in a mental institution. She's crazy, off-key, forgets the lyrics, stumbles, insults, curses. Completely out of her mind.
