I was really interested to know the reason behind your score and, despite your limitations regarding aesthetics, I have to say you were quite objective. Alright, let's close this unhealthy matter, which seems to be a bitter fruit for both of us to digest, and, as far as I'm concerned, this is my last comment on the subject. I just want to say to you, odradek, that any issue that arises on this site ultimately stems from a musical discourse. I find it very hard to believe otherwise, unless we know each other personally, or one of us, and it doesn't seem to be the case, has sparked a sterile dispute out of nowhere. Let's keep Melanie out of this; even between me and Josi, our relationship is starting to crack because of it...

Do you know what I regret the most in situations like this? It’s seeing two good minds like yours clash over a subject, music, that should represent a factor of cohesion among individuals, especially if you have the same tastes but different opinions. One thing is to witness the classic squabble between sixteen-year-olds like "metal is better than Avril" or "Pink Floyd is the best band in the world," and another is reading tons of very lengthy posts, however never unfounded and usually well-reasoned, which can be quite heavy. Of course, from the outside it's very easy to play the preacher, but you can still try to take a few steps toward each other... With the utmost respect for both.

I'm sorry, Antonio, I have a lot of respect for your "virtual figure" on DeB, which I’m sure largely reflects the real one behind a keyboard and monitor, but in this case, I don't agree with your philosophy of thought. Okay for the unconditional vote on the album, perfect, but the review should also receive the same treatment "regardless". And it is, objectively, a good review. Regards.
