Thank you for the recent comments; I hadn't read them yet. However, I don't agree with fabbiu; I really see very little psychedelic in this album, maybe the cover and a few hints here and there, but nothing more. Viva Lì, a post by Viva Lì in one of my reviews. I'm proud of it.

No, my 1 - 1 is a tribute to Antonio. He knows why, I have to do it, otherwise he'll get offended. Take that!

In the midst of rediscovering the great Cooder, perhaps overlooked for a long time, I start searching for Deb but find only one review. Fortunately, it's by Hal who, as always, brings out some fantastic things from his PS2 pen... Any comment on the album is superfluous since many have already weighed in. My next review will be precisely on Ry Cooder - Jazz, splendidly arranged by Joseph Byrd!

Certainly a promising reviewer from two perspectives: you write well and review (at least for now :D) good music. I don’t own the album, and I’ve never even listened to it, so I should refrain from giving a rating, but...

Great review, magnificent album. Just one thing: where did you read this thing about the reference to the Zeppa? I don't think I've ever heard anything like that...

But you know, Dear Messer Odradek, just the day before yesterday, I was lent your (magnificently) commentary ReproboArzillophilo Sfascia, and I would assign him a generous degustibusense (ultra)generous eight point nine (and nothing more) {..yes, but, what does it matter? I would add [Hardly Niet to put it plainly]}. And shortly I should also (mandatory conditional) receive this from you (rather than not). Just to change things up, pleasant and inQuriosente in layout and for that, I would be sadly grateful. Best regards mactutin/trabajativ to satisfaction. Y.s(cassa).c(azzi).d(s)f.

Yes, but today Peter Griffin reached the peak when they came in as a band to play in prison dressed like idiots and at the fourth drumstick hit of the drummer he exclaimed: "Oh crap, we don't even know a single song!"

Must, one of my absolute favorites, a crystal-clear album with an exceptionally clean sound. Nothing is out of place, not even Knofler's guitar harmonizing unusual melodies. Really a great record, a masterpiece of form and content. Excellent review.
