Fully in agreement with my friend Alex, Frusciante has the technique and guitar expressiveness of a kid from the local youth group who does his best to accompany the choruses at the altar. Never a touch of genius; even Balzary has always restrained part of his flair, much more evident in the absence of Frusciante.
