Zai, excellent review, as always. Very well organized, clear, and thorough. You had piqued my interest a lot, Sparklehorse, but it's a shame to see harsh critiques of the album. Should I therefore refrain on trust, or should I try my luck with my taste? I mean: is it objectively bad, or can I risk the purchase? Well, yes...

I’ll start by saying that U2, except for "One", make me cringe, and that the review is as concise as my grandmother's behind. But: where do you see the nonsense? Sure, U2 are not great, but it doesn't seem to me that the reviewer wrote in a Korn-like way with dyslexic errors and a total lack of concepts. It's short, okay, but what’s the big deal? Just tell him it’s brief, give it a 1 and move on! Show me where it’s written that a review has to be long, come on. And then there are the usual complainers who say, "But... it’s long!" They’re medium-length, and you find "Oh my, I disagree, you don’t understand a thing," and they're short, and they're short, and this review is too much of a review and this album is too much of an album. Come on, just leave the rating, insult him, and move on to others, right?
