I don't read Malloy's review on purpose; I've never really connected with Breathing, so I should consider myself fully justified, right? As punishment, I organize the links for the review while she finishes once again, straight into human cases. So it is written. :D

In three days the voice is perfect, it fits like a glove, and in the rest of the album it just doesn't match. The antithesis of a sweet voice and powerful music sounds very unconvincing to my ears. He might be a good singer, but I don't think he's suited for the genre.

My comment was in response to Malloy's. In that case, I agree, although giving it a 1 seems a bit excessive to me.

I absolutely disagree with you, I'm sorry... A compilation is practically useless when it's released with the rhythm of two albums: album-album-compilation-album-album -compilation. That makes no sense, you might as well buy the complete discography, since the Best Of albums always cost double the old records... In this case, I don't even see it as a mere commercial operation; a Best Of after so many years makes perfect sense, no doubt about it.

Points are new things, they are beautiful things, they are way too cool to be erased these stories, we have recovered them, we brought them back into the fabric of society, in the list of literary cases for humanity. We care about you a whole lot. Like, a whole lot. Really. Just. Pr.

I dusted it off just today and I have to say it didn't impress me like it once did... Musically, it remains an awesome album, kick-ass bass line, guitar and drums are smashing. It's the voice that I really don't like; I remembered it sounding a bit better, it sounds too commercial punk, maybe it's a wrong impression but it slightly gets on my nerves... 5 for the album if it were just instrumental, but it deserves a 4 (imho) considering the vocals, so to average out with my previous 5, I'll slap on a 3! Saluds.
