Well, precisely because there is money guaranteed, that's why it's definitely done... music business, many times you are forced to comply with the market. Anyway, I saw the first DVD of "Rock The Nation Live," it's nice that they revisit songs they haven't played in a while or even songs they've never played like "Love Her All I Can," but "She" is presented just like in Alive and not only "She."
Yes, "Creatures Of The Night" is a great album, but I wouldn't call it a masterpiece. The masterpiece (the 5 stars) should only go to historic albums or truly revolutionary ones; this is just great rock and that’s it. Already "Alive" had a more innovative aspect.

This CD is not bad at all, I must admit that I've always liked Saturnino as a bassist. The title is a real show!

The problem is just this: it’s a carbon copy... Damn, I’d prefer a bit of improvisation or some personalization, rather than the usual solos identical to 30 years ago... But I think the problem isn’t really his, but that of the duo Stanley, Simmons who forced him to present himself that way.

I haven't had the chance to see the latest DVD yet... but Kiss without Frehley (or Kulick) lose a bit. Even though I haven't heard the new guitarist properly yet. Regarding "Creatures Of The Night," my opinion is that it's a really great album, even though it's easy to see the intent to win back some old fans after "Dynasty" and the terrible, and perhaps the worst of Kiss, "Unmasked."

"Alive" is historic, but I really consumed "Rock'n'Roll Over" at the time. I like it quite a bit. Then there's the debut, which is a nice bang. Let's say there isn't THE album, but there are several of excellent quality.

Yes, yes, I knew it, but it just doesn't convince me. "I Was Made For Lovin' You" was the song that shattered the image of Kiss, especially for long-time fans. The intent is obvious...to commercialize themselves, but I can't say I dislike it as a song; after all, Kiss is part of my childhood, and usually, some things you hold dear even if you later find out they're hyper-commercial or totally cliché.

"I believe '2000 Man' is the worst track on the album. 'Charisma', 'Hard Times' (written by Frehley), and 'Save Your Love' are really substantial."

No. I also like "Dynasty." It's a shame it has been covered in commercial veneer, but some songs are actually good.

Apologies accepted. As for the album, sometimes I think it's taken for granted that they're great CDs just because they come from the legendary '70s. My rating is a bit harsh because it takes into account what came before ("Made In Japan," "Machine Head," etc.), and given the context in which WDWTWA was born, I’d say the work has been greatly affected. Bye.

Argh... as long as there’s a bit of electronics, or at most some truz dance anke anke, but hardcore no! Thanks anyway :D
