Dear Messer De-Cretinalbo88, I occasionally seek (still and sometimes) to attempt to visio-auscultar what is "good" and/or does not persist in producing the (not too) fervent extreme-underground tricolor panorama; in synthesis, I listened to this thanks to a temporary and cordial friendly loan and I must say that although I know 2/3 of the clattering formations (the Skruigners were unknown to me), the live work did not particularly impress me: although everything is well played and happily recorded, it seems to me that it lacks (as on the related studio records) the so-called qualitative quid that would allow them to stand out beyond a healthy and muscular aura of mediocrity. Cripple Bastards: they perform more or less what any aficionados of the genre have been gobbling up for almost twenty years now. Woptime: such frontal impact and not much beyond... (shall we compare them to the early -1988- Sick Of It All? So be it). Skruigners: frankly the weakest of the bunch. An honest disc without pretensions (as you rightly underline, by the way). Think about it: I wasn’t even fully fond of sfasciatrip-Speed/Thrashophilo in the (distant: darn it) second half of the eighties: Destruction, Kreator & krautothrash-similar were (at least they appeared to me at the time) decidedly something else (then, you know: when young, one is particularly magnanimous..).
