I arrived [by mail] at the same time as "Soul Of The New Machine" by Fear Factory: one more "beautiful" than the other. In this Brùtalizzato (remarkable) work, there is also, in my frenzied opinion, a moderately audible (musically, I mean) dose of underlying death metal; this does not prevent it from being counted among their most successful works (if not the most interesting in absoluto). Brutally true regards to josa.

Come on!!! Gentlemen! The (real, genuine, authentic, "credible") Carcass are not the ones from "Heartwork". That was just the (vain) attempt to sweeten the unsweetenable (read: pumped-up metal devoid of the "necessary" sound aberrations). Personally (de gustibus, of course) the album that seemed most impeccably unhealthy and intriguing to me was definitely "Symphonies Of Sickness" [objectively a cornerstone of the genre]. A step below, I would say "Necroticism". Brutal greetings to all.

"Preliminary Testimony" (She claims)? Personally (perhaps because I studied the aforementioned works almost by heart back when they were published), I find it more than anything a shabby and useless (all their works are quite easily available commercially) annoying bottom-scraping barrel operation. P.S. Nothing against Mr. de-recensore (whom I generally appreciate for his tone), but honestly, I utterly detest such compilations that are haphazardly and clumsily assembled.
