Penne with peas and bacon: chop the smoked bacon into cubes and sauté it for about 4 minutes in a non-stick skillet. When the bacon starts to turn golden, add the previously chopped onion and sauté for another 3-4 minutes. The onion should only soften; it shouldn't color, otherwise it will give a dominant taste. At this point, add the previously boiled peas in salted water and the cream. Lower the heat of the sauce pan to the minimum, and in the meantime, cook the penne. The time needed to cook the sauce is about 12-13 minutes, roughly the same as the cooking time of the pasta. Enjoy your meal.

Because I am indeed so young and uninhibited: think about it: sometimes I allow myself materialized, indescribable effusions (caresses, kisses on the cheeks, and assorted pinches). And then, excuse me: the day I am actually supposed to tie the knot (unlikely, but still) do you think I would ruin my already thin and sad existence with this??? Hey De-Màramaldi! Upon rereading it: I hardly mentioned anything about the concert!! Anyway: in case someone (right, Don?) isn’t particularly far from the island lands, I would like to point out that intriguing evenings will follow until the upcoming September 6th; in particular, I find the scheduled date for Thursday 04/09/08 with the Chicago Underground Duo (Manzurek+Taylor) to be of great interest.
