I am really (very) curious to experience the Italian pop rock sound of this interesting rising artist from Imola in the music scene.

(Although quite precarious) Welcome to CasaPaginam. Petrified regards.

@Bartholomeo: I (BlodFaiarDet) haven't listened to him for almost half a lifetime (that is, a few months after his vinyl release: in fact, I clearly preferred "Under The Sign Of The Black Mark"): that doesn't stop me from testifying how much he is still followed: "May the spirit of Viki Il Vikingo be with you!" UH!

But am I the only one who finds the Bathory para-epic stuff damn megabarbosissimi? Well! P.S. But dear Bartholomeo, it doesn’t seem to me that "Blood Fire Death", aside from the knightly intro, is that epic-metal.. or at least, my archaic vinyl sounded quite different.

Honestly, in certain instances I preferred Dub War; however (all things considered), this vaguely multigrade little record was rather easy to listen to. Moderately Babylonian regards.

Everything very true, but I think the label is called ROIR. Au rev(r)oir.

Very well, Mr. Apocalypse. You are right. The review downgrade is quite modest but overall readable. I don’t know the album. By the way, I was wondering why you didn’t vote for the album? Given that you’ve defended (it doesn’t seem like I attacked it, either) the de-reviewer and/or the reviewed band so fiercely, one would expect that you, the possessor of this supposed yet unparalleled gem of modern metal music, wouldn’t overlook it. And, as I already asked you before, please moderate your tone. There’s no need to address others as you so casually allow yourself to do: we are among "Amici" here. Whether you like it or not. If you think otherwise, you can also stay out: I/we won’t exactly miss you. Goodbye. And thank you.

(Bartle) breaks, have you ever listened to these?! // (sfa) Never! He says they deserve it? [I was annoyed not to give you a cordial de-response..] P.S. The de-reviewer will forgive this parenthesis inter nos.

You see, Mr. Apocalyptic, you should use a more polite terminology towards the other users of the site (myself included). You are right: (as I have specified) I haven't listened to the record in question. At the same time, I would like to point out that I have probably heard more Italian (and non-Italian) Thrash records than you since the mid-eighties onward (maybe you weren't even born when I worked at a small local radio station - from 1987 to 1993 - from which I broadcasted the worst metal-musical trash...). My point was simply a broader discussion and not necessarily limited to this or that record/band. Perhaps if you reread my previous comment, you will find more comfort in my vague words. Have a good de-permanence. In any case you think about it.

Certainly, the cover is truly unforgettable in full-on 80s/early 90s Italian Thrash style... very much in the Dracma Records style, if I may say so. Another thing: let’s go with the so-called "ghost of Pantera," considering that they seem to have been gone for a long time, but "...the ghost of the great Skolnick.."? I wasn't aware he had (artistically) passed on. The aspect that leaves me most perplexed about these types of productions (apart from the pleasure and fun it might bring to those performing it) is who this benefits and what kind of audience a band (that I haven’t had the pleasure of hearing, just to be clear) that plays this stuff could appeal to today, aside from the die-hard metal defenders; let me explain: we are well into 2009, and from what I gather from Mr. de-reviewer, they continue/persist in imitating, more or less meticulously, realities that have already had their time and have been stylistically surpassed and increasingly overshadowed by those who expect at least a minimum level of "exploration" in the (not only) metal field. Oh well! Forgive my verbosity: I have let my somewhat rusty and unrepentant metal soul take over. Greetings, mostly metallic.
