The next idiot who tells me that Flea is an amazing bassist is getting a slap on the face and a backhand [:P]. Mr. Claypool's new album (and his wobbly companions) might not be an absolute masterpiece ("Frizzle Fry" is definitely not just around the corner), but it’s definitely much better than what I was expecting. Of course, this is a sober opinion... maybe if I downed six or seven shots of strong stuff, my perspective might change.

But maybe the "bullsh*t electronic chill-out disco for half-wits" was like that. Disco (perhaps overly) velvety and definitely a thousand miles away from the post-Sonic Youth guitar work of the early albums that used to excite us all, but not exactly bad nor banal. P.S.: by the way, I love this track by LMFao.
