Beloved Rax, but will DeDomanda forgive me for originating from the fact that I have never listened to this album, let alone anything or almost nothing of the entire discography of the Polis? How is it possible that an album can be both "of great depth," "boring," "remarkable," and possess "a virtuosity that is self-serving"? Don't you think these descriptive terms seem light years apart (7,000) from one another? In doubt and awaiting (s)clarifications, I would assign a classic double five. Now Vuar.

The only concert by Litfiba that I had the chance to see was back in 1986 (or maybe '87), but I must honestly say that I don't have such a captivating, therefore ecstatic memory of it. I vaguely remember an anthem-like Rockettino that was just passable, but nothing spectacular. I also recall a genuine toxic cloud of cannabis hanging heavy over our heads, therefore our nostrils. I’ve recently learned that this was supposed to be the best phase for the Tuscan group. Maybe. It's also worth mentioning that at the time, I was much more entertained by the S.O.D.

Dear Brother Freddo, I must confess I have never read a single line of the cynical Lansdale, but given such a cover and being a fervent admirer of Hevisaurus (which I warmly recommend you check out at least YouTube video non trovatoFpWvFj3Bgwc) I find myself compelled to seek it out and perhaps, one day, to read it as well. I seem to remember that the first album ("Terra... something") didn't bother me at all: gnarly sounds, "not very aligned" music, and so on. Then, I don't know why or how, but I completely lost sight of them. But almost, I might give this new one a try (as I generally care little about the lyrics). Who knows. Mersì and Or Vuar.
