It must be that the end of my twenties dates back to the Quaternary period (commonly known as the Neogene as Uicchipedia teaches us, along with our capable ditch-digger @[heartshapedbox]) but this pseudo-pop young Italic vibe doesn't say much to me. Alas.

Wow, what a healthy apotropaic noise these guys are making. From the DeRecenze, I thought they were more balanced: clearly, they’re not even able to grasp the meaning/sign of the marginalized DeRecenze anymore. Long live the imbalance.

I agree: "El abrazo de la serpiente" deserves careful and reverent scrutiny.
I don't know anything about the album.
As usual

I have to be frank: I've never appreciated it much. That kind of "aspirated snarl" from the vocalist has never given me great satisfaction, perhaps also because having delved into the genre in question since the mid-eighties, I've always preferred the monolithic Sick Of It All. But these are (useless) subtleties. You know.

I grew up on bread and Kraftwerk.
With a nice slice of Devo that was always amazing.
But this one I (almost) fear to taste: I'm afraid of indigestion.

Of the political message, I wouldn’t know anything at all: my profound ignorance mixed with a lack of desire to delve deeper keeps me from going beyond the surface of such a bizarre title. At the same time, what my grimy ears have perceived while listening to such a multifaceted DeDisco seems decidedly more than interesting. In synthesis: these are the DeDischi (and the corresponding DeRecenze) that we like.

The first Disciplinatha musically were a groundbreaking group. Moreover, we were all almost thirty years younger, and on certain aspects, those aspects, one gracefully glossed over, focusing attention on the impact. Groundbreaking. The Laibach, on the other hand, have never excited me, not to mention the truly useless Rammstein. In any case, regardless of opinions, I am curious to hear what they have pulled out of the hat. Black.

"Our music is a great friend, it never betrays you."
Bella DePagina.
At the same time, I'm not entirely convinced it's a great friend.
It's us who, when we feel the desire/need for some joy, seek it out, not the other way around: in that case, it is there, ready to satisfy our personal needs.
However, it's also true that if we don't seek it, unlike a friend, it won't seek us.
We could even stop looking for it altogether, and it wouldn't hold it against us.
Maybe Emilio wouldn't.
And here lies the real difference.

I will tell you again: I read DeRecenza with interest.
As usual.
I also went to look for the orange in the orchard mentioned there.
However: I fear I have a (greater) preference for those that are more sanguine.
Of oranges.

Just to say that (now) we have the complete official DeDiscography (et gentiluoma) also available in the DeDatabazer. To be honest, they remind me a lot of the more fluid Electric Moon. But I don’t understand a thing about psychedelic rock. Aiò!
