Apart from the beautiful prose, you've neglected to talk a bit more about the album that surely had something more to say. Any samples?

You really went for it, huh, Francesco? But, deep down, I agree... for certain music, it's always better to stick to the classics!

Not being normal necessarily means being toxic, drunk, or lazy? And if that were the case, should we take this as a model to follow? Are we sure that they - more than any other category - are not the real culprits who have ruined our generation with this "decadent and self-destructive" view of the world? Let's reflect (maybe without the blinders of Ideology, just this once...)

"still rejects the Jews, hates any integration, curses the gays and everything else in the name of some "tradition" to defend"... don't worry Punisher, it's NOT aimed at you, far from it, Francesco might have a problem with "that foreigner", as you called her!!

I agree with Fred1: if I really have to spend money on Moz, I would start with: 1. The Queen is Dead 2. Meat is Murder 3. Louder than Bombs 4. Viva Hate... with some scattered tracks here and there, as the Punisher says.

Indeed, I fall for it every time. I always buy Moz and each time it's just a buildup of disappointments. Honestly, apart from the debut and a few tracks (personally, I could make a great single CD of the best pieces from his entire discography!!), Morrissey has been on a downward trajectory. Unfortunately, I find myself hoping every time. It's like with failed loves. You know it has been over for a long time, but despite everything, as soon as you hear it, it makes your heart skip a beat for a moment. But alas, important stories should be cut off in time. Am I incapable of falling in love again, or is it Moz who no longer excites me?!?

To avoid misunderstandings, I adored the Smiths, but don’t come to me saying this is a “great record”… I repeat, if we want to save face for Morrissey and justify him “for his past,” that’s one thing; but right now, Morrissey is this half-hearted crooner, bloated and full of himself, now lacking any grit, with only his (wonderful) voice keeping him alive: take it or leave it.

sorry... I posted in the wrong place!!! it was for Battiato!

Is there anyone untouchable in music? Can we or can we not say that His Excellency Battiato has, this time, pissed outside the bowl, or must we refrain because "he is untouchable," because "he has a respectable past," because "he is the best singer Italy can afford," etc. etc.? Should we evaluate things for what they actually are NOW, or should we judge them based on where they come from, what they represent, and the background that accompanies them? That's all.
