Oh my... I want to have this!

A rather banal review filled with phrases read and reread, discussions heard at least a hundred times from 1980 to today (the closing remark about "Forget reactionary singers, forget dull politicized ramblings, forget tiresome diatribes. It's just pop songs, what did you expect?!" I've read that at least twenty times in reviews of the same album, and this is because the title of the album itself inevitably leads to THAT conclusion, so easy that it comes off as trivial!)
A nice album (that brilliantly revisits the same themes expressed in Burattino senza fili) but far from being a masterpiece of Italian music, as the reviewer seems keen to convince us.

Easy, red cross, some big names are coming soon... I don't make convenient assessments or statistics like "how much dust will I stir up if I review this instead of that?"... ranging from random Italian rock (see Bennato) to the Greats of jazz (but I don't want to spoil the surprise for anyone...) or Great Rock (same).
Regarding the Velvet Underground, which you mention, I have nothing to criticize (perhaps aside from the last Live operation done about ten years ago with the reunion), but I won't hold back on objectively weak albums from other bands (famous or not); I won't be too harsh either.
And anyway, red cross or not, the same album was reviewed on DeBaser a few months ago with praises from one Jarda who concluded with "The Antidote can thus satisfy the taste of longtime fans of the band while also intriguing and winning over an audience that has in mind the more psychedelic sounds of the '60s" (!!!), so things aren't always as obvious as you say... for Kosmog. You can also paste the post you're talking about here (but please spare me the spelling or syntax errors, do me this favor...). ;-)

LIGA is a colossal hoax: twenty years making the same record. It's the icon of stagnation and the old way of conceiving rock, filled with parodic banality: vitaontheroad, pseudoamericanisms, leatherbootsinAugust, fringesasifitwere raining, cowboyhats, the usual DO turns, and a thousand other bullshit only useful to distract from the music that is worth little more than ZERO. And I’ll stop here.

"Statistically, one could draw a disturbing yet quite realistic data about contemporary artistic/musical production"... alas, yes... disturbing and unfortunately realistic, as far as I'm concerned...

Dear WRETCHED AND IGNORANT AS WELL AS INCAPABLE WRECKER OF CARS FOR THREE THALERS (as you define yourself), I would say there is a good balance between harsh critiques and "educational" reviews: almost 50%... But regarding the album in question, does no one have more specific comments?

Become intellectually honest if I declare it as I always have. I accept your heartfelt thanks: I will report it to my alter ego (heh heh..) ;-)

Seen live, they were a devastating thing... I saw a solo triggered by the sound of a violin bow on the tights of a girl in the front row of the audience... seeing the microphone positioned at pussy height was incredibly outrageous!!
