Tricky Pre-Millenium Tension

I prefer PRE MILLENIUM TENSION by MAXINQUAJE. The worst is the latest one, VULNERABLE.

Widely overrated album. Resentful now is more than surpassed in terms of sounds and structural complexity. I agree on Maxinquaye.

Ah, since I'm running low on jokes with friends, update me on some other "gem" from your collection that you define as a "MASTERPIECE," like... the latest from Santana or Ciccio Fiorani Jazz Quartet...

Do you know the phrase "you're all talk and no action!"? Well, it suits you perfectly... you dropped some names, didn't you?! Just because one is called Hooker, that automatically means he never slips up? Are you also one of those who kneel and bend over backwards "regardless" of what they hear, but solely based on "the name" of the musician they’re dealing with? Ah, do me a favor… give me the list of these specialized jazz magazines (?) you're talking about, so at least I can get the latest update on “sold” and “self-serving” music journalism: if they dare praise this work, I'll immediately understand how things really are..

I loVE Music, I'm in tune with you... maybe two stars is even too much but, at least technically, the album is undoubtedly successful and so, by necessity, I held back a bit...
Björk Drawing Restraint 9
Voto:
I reiterate: an insignificant album as a soundtrack, almost null for being a Björk record (I would pull out just 5 minutes overall of nice ideas scattered here and there). A sordid commercial operation that our (given the caliber of the character and her obsessive attention to uncompromising quality) SHOULD have avoided.

For rocknrollsuicide: 5 beautiful songs don't make a legend; rather, they create a nice album. 5 beautiful songs from a discography of 20+ albums make for a solid craft.

"It's definitely beautiful. Played by God, sung by God, excellent selection of songs. And it captures what I believe is a perfect moment of Van 'The Man' Morrison."
Primiballi, do you realize what you've written? Did you really listen closely? If everything you say is true (and you're not over 50, in which case I might excuse your nostalgic vibe), I hope to never meet you, but if, by the remotest chance, we became great friends, swear to me that you won't keep me in front of your personal record collection for more than 30 seconds. But you have to swear that right now!

Let's keep the level high otherwise we're just doing a local market... I agree with Punisher about the quality of the album, even though VAN has done excellent things, the legendary Gloria above all...
