this is my official debut on this site and I am as excited as a little girl, almost as much as I was at my debut at the Castrocaro Festival over half a century ago!!!
Well, I just wanted to promote my summer proposal, which is this album "Eva contro Eva" by Carmen Consoli, who has made a magnificent return with her beautiful music and warm Mediterranean melodies, setting aside her "bad girl" rock persona with all its muscles for a moment to indulge in more relaxed and reflective atmospheres.
Oh sure, many will definitely wrinkle their noses. Starting right from you, ever-discontent and polemical debaseriani with Italian music.
Not to mention the one who calls himself "Punisher," who is always difficult and contrarian and never misses an opportunity to massacre albums loved by the Italian public.
HOW DARE THIS GOOD-LOOKING GUY!?! Why is he always so argumentative AGAINST everyone? Why systematically destroy the heritage of our Beautiful Italian music, which is envied at International Festivals!? What’s the point, then... with negativity, nothing is achieved, while with positivity, one can ALWAYS grow and improve.
As usual, the phantom Punisher will likely say it’s as bland as few can be, I bet (he always says that!!), that he’s now imitating the Avion Travel and the vaguely snobbish and cultured music of Sergio Cammariere or Ivan Segreto without reaching their compositional complexity (which, over time, can indeed be annoying!). In short, he repeats himself... and then? What else do you think he will have to say? That the album doesn’t hold up for more than 15 minutes? That Carmen sings with that increasingly adenoid voice that, after a while, gives you gonorrhea and hives without you even realizing it? I can already imagine him passing down judgments from above... FROM ABOVE what?! Just because he has published about 50 reviews (or rather "ravings") on your site DOES NOT AUTHORIZE him to speak with an authority that NOBODY HAS GRANTED HIM... so, once and for all, I would like to order (yes, you read that right) the aforementioned Punisher of my boots to NOT comment or criticize the beautiful album of my Carmen, which has cost me effort, sweat, and tears (and quite a bit of money, to be honest!) Unless (and that is not taken for granted) he speaks well of it and FOR ONCE doesn’t waste a few kind words in her favor. Damn it, everyone has spoken well of it, from Rolling Stones to Mucchio Selvaggio, from Panorama to L'Espresso, COME ON, is it possible that he is the one to break the (golden) eggs in the basket?! POSSIBLE! BUT WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS, the one who even opened a blog (can you believe it!!) the infamous
