Ligabue A Che Ora E' La Fine Del Mondo?

He has simply wrecked and mangled the indomitable spirit of American rock origins, turning it into a caricature all'italiana, confusing the younger generations and completely misleading them to the point that many think Springsteen copied Liga... not to mention the purely musical and compositional aspect of ours: arrangements ZERO, composition 1, lyrics from the Sagra della Porchetta della Val Seriana (aside from 3/4 songs that are actually nice, but I have serious doubts about their true paternity)... in short, that's enough. Sorry, but with all the beautiful music that exists, I've already wasted too much time on this...

The Libertines always and only play the same fucked-up punk'n'roll that even nuns are doing if you go to music lessons with the Canossians, it’s so worn out and hackneyed. I'm simply expressing MY opinion as someone who listens to at least 5 records a day and ALMOST never the same ones, having been digging through music of all kinds for 25 years, with a room in my house dedicated ONLY to music, housing over 4000 albums including old LPs and CDs, including the crap I review. You, barely reaching 20 years, who talks so much and have probably listened to 40 records at most, and BESIDES NOT PUTTING YOUR FACE OUT THERE like me, you don’t even log in and hide behind some ANONYMOUS name that isn’t even funny, you fool!

Smich, are you a fake of Krystall, who always annoys us with his Salento? I don’t know the album, the review is very standard, one of those things that are neither here nor there.

I don't completely agree with "fencing in" this album exclusively within the "ghetto" of the Generation X of spoiled brats. It seems to me a miserable adolescent generalization just to make readers go "Ooohhhhh" and gain a bit of protagonism (which, by the way, is quite legitimate). We could use more "shitty" bands like Suede, dear our TurgidaTalpa...

I'm afraid you haven't even listened to the album, my dear Geuevo... not even once, and, as always, you only vote for the lofty and noble name that created it. Be careful, my vote is for the ALBUM and NOT for Sakamoto, who has crafted beautiful pages of Great Music (including the latest "Chasm")... but here, you either vote for the artist in general or you vote for the album in particular. Too often, people confuse the two things. And be aware that your criticism of "little substance" is NOT directed at ME, okay?... pay attention to WHOM you are addressing... I will explain later WHAT and to WHOM you gave 1 star... :-))))))))))

Before starting this review, I want to make a preface: I HATE with all my being and have always hated our national Lucianone both as a person and as an author of tacky, show-off songs like "Ho messo via," "Chissà se in cielo passano gli Who?", "Il giorno di dolore che uno ha," "Figlio di un cane," "Sarà un bel souvenir," "Leggero," etc. etc., so it pains me to see this album (dated 1994) getting three stars, a huge gray stain in Liga's utterly discredited career; in fact, this album doesn’t convince me either, it has everything wrong that I couldn't exactly explain which makes it come across as a poorly felt record, I would almost say a piece of crap like all of his... (now you think about how to straighten out the rest of the review, thank you).

I listened to the album just like I listened to Fabri Fibra's... I almost like this one more, but by the third track you'd want to inject yourself with a black & decker into your veins... stuff like that, maybe Fibra is more interesting as a "media phenomenon" in itself, but the level for both is still sooooOOoo low.

Great review. Fun, light, quite clear, and above all NOT DULL!!! Maybe if you talked a little more about the album, it would have been better... I have this album too and I find it delightful!!
