pep... I don't consider you because (from your nickname) it’s clear that you are 92 years old... if you were instead born in '92 I would support you and smile at you like an uncle to a little nephew... but if you have 92 neurons (which is more likely) I silently pity you and lay some flowers in your little brain.

Maybe I'm colorblind or I can't visualize the brackets well anymore, but if I'm not mistaken, there were only 2 reviews of this album and not "a ton" ... so I don't consider a third one "a scandal" as Metallaro Bionico said, who never misses a chance to be "funny WITHOUT being funny"... and the crappy reviews are something else entirely, even if this one is neither fish nor fowl!
Tom Waits Mule Variations

My all-time favorite remains "Slowfishtrombones" because it was the first "real" breakthrough that outlined the "new path" to follow (and it was 1982, if I’m not mistaken…). That's great, but there are others before it...
David Sylvian Approaching Silence
Voto:
I agree with Dante on the best CD... Sylvian is nice in small doses and after a while it either bores you or makes you melancholic like few others... obviously: Great Class Anyway!

Better a beautiful and intense double review than a quadruple review of yet another Nel Young bore (just to give an example). Wonderfully melancholic album and top-level review.
Franco Battiato Mondi Lontanissimi

well... it could be Ghemison... anything can be... I should listen to it again now, two years after its release... maybe I could see myself again
Franco Battiato Mondi Lontanissimi

Well... a beautiful Battiato where the mix between pop and high culture had found a nice synthesis... the Battiato of now seems a bit monochord... and it seems to me he has "less" to say... the masterpieces, however, in my opinion, are others: L'ERA DEL CINGHIALE BIANCO, PATRIOTS, GOMMALCCA and others...
Bugo Sguardo Contemporaneo
Voto:
Oh no, De Andrè's words dig into your soul like a corkscrew working through the cork of a vintage Corco Rosso. Bugo's are just farts that barely raise a smile. With the first gust, they disappear, leaving you with nothing but the unhealthy stench of their fleeting presence. Incomparable.

Guys...you didn't understand anything... THIS REVIEW IS IRONIC BY FORCE OF THINGS... the nonsense it says is so over the top that it CANNOT be taken "seriously"... right?!
