I’m listening to it right now, and it seems to me to be of a lower level compared to their original production. More "traditional" songs and less "avant-garde" (I’m thinking of Elisir with Nannini, which I don’t find outstanding)... more generally, it seems to me that they have slightly lost their shine, but perhaps it’s just a first impression.

I saw the movie but didn’t read the book. The movie was beautiful, adrenaline-pumping, a bit over the top. I also think the phrase "ti veniva voglia di farti davvero" is an unfortunate comment, even though it was definitely said without malice. I nearly felt like reading the book, though...

There are Great Ideas that require budgets and Great Films that are made with zero euros, albeit with difficulty. For Bad Ideas and Bad Films, the budget is not a determining factor. I bought this new film for €5 more out of whim than real conviction, but I fear the nap effect... I absolutely must watch it in the afternoon!
