Well... both talk about a student boy who is facing the transition to adulthood. They both discuss relationships with girls and sexual urges. Undoubtedly, Virzì's film is much better executed...

At the time, I found this film very enjoyable. Virzì is undoubtedly someone who knows how to direct actors and always brings out the best in them. Among Italian comedies for young people, I would say this is definitely better than "Notte prima degli esami"...
